How to upload cars

To upload a car for Assetto Corsa, please follow the instructions below.

To upload a modded car you have to do the following:

  • Go to your control panel, click at your server, and then click at File Manager Then Click at content and then Cars.
  • Make a new folder inside cars with the exact name of the modded car.
  • If it exists, upload the data.acd file from the modded car to the directory that was just created on the server. (e.g. \content\cars\car_name\)
  • If the modded car has a data folder, then upload this folder inside the folder we've previously created for the modded car. (e.g. \content\cars\car_name\data)

Alternatively you can create the folder and upload the files with an FTP client (e.g. Filezilla) if you prefer.

Note: If the car doesn't have a data.acd file and doesn't have a data directory then the server doesn't need any files to use the modded car.

To configure the car:

  • In the control panel click on Configureation files, then open cfg\server_cfg.ini.
  • Add the car name to the line "CARS=", you can enter multiple cars by seperating them with a semicolon (;)
  • Save the file
  • In the control panel click on Configureation files, then open cfg\entry_list.ini
  • Now add the car to entry_list positions so that players can select the car when joining the server.
  • Restart the server to apply the changes.
